A: Great question!  And, an excellent opportunity to share part of her testimony.  Kendra’s life-long experience and an intricate network of trusted peers in the horse industry are two vital parts of her business. However, Kendra believes having a heart for God truly enhances her eye for horses.  She feels that each horse passes through her barn for a reason.  Kendra’s life has been richly blessed by the many wonderful people she has encountered over the years.  Kendra enjoys each day of barrel racing, knowing God has control of her life and her horses.

Q: Am I allowed to vet check a horse?
A: Yes! A buyer is welcome to perform a pre-purchase examination at his/her own expense. Exam conditions will be written into the bill of sale along with a specified date of conclusion.

Q: Can I try a Gold Buckle horse on the clock at a barrel race?
A: Before requesting to view a Gold Buckle Barrel Horse in a competitive setting, Kendra asks that you first consider her thoughts on the subject.  Kendra prioritizes your safety by beginning each session at her ranch, utilizing her own private facilities.  With years of experience, Kendra is well aware of the ingredients it takes to combine successful horse/rider teams.  It is her goal to help you win!  However, it is important to note that precision and proper timing come with experience.  For the absolute best results, Kendra recommends spending plenty of quality time with your horse before entering a race.  Investing in a positive rapport with your new horse will ensure a solid foundation for future success. 

Q: Can I purchase over the phone?
A: Yes! Gold Buckle Barrel Horses are often purchased over the phone, via wire transfer and/or credit card payment.

Q: What kind of payment is accepted?
A: Gold Buckle accepts cash, credit and/or electronic transfer payments. Personal or cashier checks must be approved.

The Sulpher Springs Texas was a HUGE success. 25 barrel racers and 10 goat tyers attended. Many special instructors were on hand to teach the goat tying. Kody Curry who is ranked in the top 30 in the PRCA tie down standings was on hand to teach goat tying, as well as Tamera Sanders, the newly appointed secretary for World Barrel Racing Productions and former Champion in THSRA as a pole bender and goat tyer. Kendra also had help from WPRA colleague Ashton Elder, Misti Ray and Chrystal Hall to help instruct barrel racing. Students walked away with a better foundation of horsemanship, and the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Congrats to Ty Eason, who was awarded the Trophy Trailer. Happy Trails Ty!!

Thank you to all who made the clinic such a huge success.

Two time State Champion in the TYRA Loni Lester , and over the 1st weekend in August Loni was 3rd on "Secret" the 1st day in the 1D, 4th on "Buford," and the Second day she was 3rd of "Buford", and 4th on "Secret" at the Wrappin' three Race in Halletsville, Texas

the day on July 12, with an 18.249. Next closest time was a 19.909.
 

Glamorous!!! An all around cowgirl from Arizona. GBBH proudly supports Chelsea Summers and heeling partner dad, Mike. Chelsea owns two Gold Buckle horses, Fendi and Valentino. Looking good, lil sis!!! ~Kendra

Another winning run for Dani and Denali! June 21, San Antonio, Texas open rodeo. 1st place time of 16.0. Way to Go Team!!!!

 

June 21, Stockdale, Texas. Loni and speedhorse, Buford, win CPRA rodeo with a 17.3. Congratulations to the entire Lester family... An inspiration to us all!
 

Laine from Garrison, Tx recently placed 1st and 3rd on her horse "Viola" at the NBHA event in East Texas. Congratulations Laine!!!

 

Karson - a pro cowgirl in the making! GBBH fans, please congratulate Karson!!! She did great last weekend at the 4 States Finals. She won 2nd in the average, She finished the year 8th in the barrels and 6th in the poles. This young cowgirl shows more determination than most adults I know. Karson combines her love for barrel racing with a radiant and joyful outlook on life. It's an honor to watch her learn and grow.

 

June 16, Havre, Montana. Homie and Denali clean the house, winning 1st place with a 14.2 at "The Biggest Little Race on the Hi-Line." Homie glides through the pattern like no other. His outgoing personality successfully steals the show wherever he goes and he's already well on his way to building a nice fan club of his own. Waaaay to go, Hometown... We love you!

 

Record Breaker! Alli and Smoochie set a new arena record in Ukiah, CA on June 14. Their time of 16.3 happened to be the only 1D time of the day... Next fastest time was a full second off at 17.3. We are extremely happy for you Alli!

One week prior, Alli and Smoochie placed 45th out of 700 entries at a supershow in Las Vegas. This young GBBH rider is really making a name for herself.

 

Fendi ROCKS! Chelsea and her GBBH mare, Fendi, took home 2nd place in barrels by 1/1000ths of a second at an AJRA rodeo on June 14 in Douglas, Arizona.
 

Breaking New Ground - Big congratulations to GBBH Instructor, Dani Powers and her superhorse "Denali." This exciting young team is currently holding onto the lead at an open rodeo series in San Antonio, Texas. We are very happy for your success, Dani!
