With a passion for serving Christ, two women saddled up in early 2007 for the ride of their lives.  It was an unusually frigid winter afternoon, when the lovely Chrystal Hall drove from her hometowon of Ada, Oklahoma, to visit Kendra Dickson and Gold Buckle Barrel Horses.  Having never met before, the two became fast friends and talked for hourjs about horses, rodeo, colt training tips and everything else under the sun!  When the conversation turned to Jesus, Kendra and Chrystal started developing a plan to host a barrel racing clinic for *free*.

As the story unfolded, one clinic turned into two clinics, two grew into three, and then the whole free clinic dream took off with a bang.  The term Express Lane Clinics was born and the goal was to simplify the sport of barrel racing and help riders improve horsemanship.  Express Lane Clinics serve as the perfect platform for Kendra and Chrystal to use their experience with horses to communicate with others how God has blessed their lives.  Since the first event in Denton, Texas, where they gave away a trophy saddle as top prize, the clinics have grown leaps and bounds with outstanding results!  Along with other saddles, buckles, free t-shirts, free bits, tack and trophies... even horse trailers have been awarded over the years.    Today, Express Lane Clinics, are a group of Kendra's closest friends and professional trainers who volunteer their time to help others.  Most importantly, the team enjoys sharing their faith to encourage people of all ages.

Lives have been changed, hearts lifted, friendships forged and memories made... There are many people who contribute their time into making each Express Lane Clinic a success.  Walt Mannon and Mike Eason have been instrumental in helping the organization grow by hosting youth clinics each summer in Sulphur Springs, Texas.  Austin Foust from Lake City, Tennessee, attends as many clinics as possible sharing his testimony and welcoming each rider.  Misti Ray of Ada, Oklahoma, organizes each event while overseeing the schedule.  Danielle "Danga" Powers is from San Antonio, Texas, she is a frequent Jr. Instructor at Express Lane Clinics, as well as Ciera Brandt, Hannah Cochran, Melody Sakillaradis, Larissa Hardesty, Michaela Theall and Chelsea Summers of Queen Creek, Arizona.  Heather Brandt from Beorne, Texas, welcomes everyone with a smile and enjoys sharing her talent as an equine massage therapist.  Kim Anderson is a fitness professional who understands first hand the importance of horse and rider unity.  DeWayne Hall and Chad Dickson make sure everyone has plenty of water, food and safe ground conditions for horses and riders.  Top futurity trainer, Ryan Lovendahl, shares his expertise and years of experience gained by training some of the best known horses in the industry.  KC Groves establishes immediate rapport with every youth rider.  Ashley Taylor is a genious at correcting problem behaviors in horses, while Scott Martin utilizes his talent as a computer design artist to personally create all hand-outs and media.  There are countless other wonderful people who have dedicated their time, skill and energy into making Express Lane Clinics a unique organization with a special purpose.
